The Wounded Walk is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating experiences that empower veterans to help themselves and others. The site includes destination plotted walk maps, fund raiser goal charts, multiple walker profiles, media outlet features, and customizable headers per page. The site is fully responsive, built mobile first, to the latest of web standards

A few details about the project:
Donation Location is a web-based service to supply users with information about donation drop-off points in nearest to their zip code. Mobile-friendly site provides Google map integration and geo-location based on zip. Custom home slider and menu areas give great flexibility and future-proof scaling when the website is ready to add more areas. A basic blog area is also included but not shown on the site.

Ocean Group Company is a full service printing company based in Ronkonkoma, NY where hands-on and friendly service is all part of how things work. Good friends of mine, I’d urge you to go check out their site and if you have any designer friends that need a print shop with quick turnaround times and affordable prices, Ocean Group is the place to go.

Client: Softrack Mousepads

A few details about the project:
Softrack Mousepads are a promotional product that are offered with your custom images for trade shows and events. Light jQuery effects like a rotator on the homepage and a gallery lightbox give the website the modern feel it needs. I cut and sliced PDFs to exact specs and hand-coded HTML with optimized images for web-view.

Client: Dataforma

A few details about the project:
Working closely with Smarilli Marketing Group, I’ve sliced and diced the PDFs into a XHTML compliant website with newer jQuery stylization techniques. Also worked with the developers to get a firm understanding of JSP technologies as well as the Google Map API to plot testimonials on the map. Not pictured are other promotional items that were completed for trade shows.

Client: College – CGIII
Date: May 14th, 2009

A few details about the project:
This was an experiment for myself involving PHP back-end development with a shopping cart script. I didn’t write the script, but certainly customized the MYSQL database and code within to produce the visual aesthetics on the site. This was not cross-browser tested (the only project of mine that isn’t), as only students in the class were able to see it on the iMacs in the lab. A breadcrumb script was also implemented at the last minute to further expand my horizon in PHP.

Client: York College Radio Station
Date: March 2nd, 2009

A few details about the project:
Originally it was designed as a WordPress template, which was fully functional, and 100% XHTML/CSS compliant. However, the servers at the college had been changed (disallowing PHP) after the project was implemented in WordPress, so then, a full strict HTML site was developed, and uploaded on their servers.

Nationally Recognized:
As of March 8th, 2010, the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) has deemed this design the “Best Website” of college radio stations across the country.
